Sunlight Care is a Veterans Administration (VA) Home Health Care Services provider and a VA Respite Care Services provider in Southern New Jersey. Through this service Sunlight Care provides 2 hour Home Care visits and 6 hour Respite Care visits at the direction and funding of the VA.
Our clients receive as few as 2 and as many as 14 2-hour Home Care visits each week all paid for directly by the Veterans Administration to South Jersey veterans. Many of our clients also receive 30 Respite visits a year also paid for by the VA. If you think you or your loved one may qualify for VA funded home care please call us. We can help you get started. VA Aid and Attendance Program Another VA program that can help with Home Care expenses is the VA Aid and Attendance program. This program is available to qualified veterans and their spouses. Approval is subject to income and asset limitations. Maximum benefit amounts in 2015 range from $1,149 for a Widowed Spouse, $1,788 for a Single Veteran and $2,120 for a Married Veteran.
